The East Jackson wrestling team finished in first place at the Putnam County Briar Patch Tournament. The Eagles had 11 boys wrestlers finish inside the top four while two girls finished in first place. Among the boys in the top four, two finished in first in their weight class.
113-pounder Brody Buckley and 132-pounder Mason Smith finished first for the boys, while Brittany Revez and Seanna McCarthy finished in first for the girls. Angel Rodriguez, Ryan Lampe, Kole Smith and Evan Reed finished in second, while Jayton Howell, Emer Jacinto and Paul Jenkins finished third. Robert Holley and Chase Wingfield finished fourth.
