East Jackson High School will be represented in 15 events at the GHSA Class AA State Track and Field Championships this weekend inside Eagle Stadium. The school will host the Class AA and AAAA championships for the second-consecutive season.
The following student-athletes will compete in the following events:
Brooklyn Lee qualified in the 1600-meter run
Alivia Weaver qualified in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles
Brooklyn Lee, Brooklyn Brown, Piper Pennington and Norah Nichols will compete in the 4x800-meter relay
Marissa Mullins will compete in pole vault
Norah Nichols will compete in pole vault
Piper Pennington will compete in the 3200-meter run
Ryleigh Nunn will compete in shot put
Michael Kelleher will compete in pole vault
Aaronn Blackmon will compete in the 200-meter run
Lester Jenkins will compete in shot put and discus
Hayden Hodges and Cade Brown will both compete in the 1600-meter run
Colin Ramsey, Cade Brown, Michael Kelleher and Hayden Hodges will compete in the 4x800-meter relay
Kelleher, Hodges and Brown will all compete in the 800-meter run
Cade Brown, Griffin McDaniel, Hodges and Kelleher will compete in the 4x400-meter relay
