The East Jackson swim team posted its best finish of the season on the Friday before Thanksgiving Break, with the boys taking fourth place in the Habersham Pirate Plunge. The boys 200-yard freestyle relay of Reed Cassidy, Seth Cassidy, Jack Davis and Haden Zuercher set a new school-record, while the girls 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams of Courtney Cameron, Emma Miller, Taylor Joyner and Piper Pennington also set new school marks.
Miller finished second as an individual in the 200 freestyle while Cameron finished second in the 100 breaststroke. Cassidy finished second in the 100 freestyle for the boys.
