East Jackson's softball team secured its first win of the season with a 15-7 victory over Chestatee on Thursday afternoon. Araya Underwood drove in four runs to carry the Lady Eagles (1-1) to the win.
East Jackson racked up 11 hits on the night with Skyla Faulkner led the way with a perfect 5-for-5 night, scoring every time she reached base. Underwood went 3-for-4 with her four RBIs and three runs scored, while Brooklyn Ross scored three runs in the win. Reese Poelker drove in two runs, as well.
East Jackson visits West Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 14, and Oglethorpe County on Aug, 17.
