Brittany Perez connected on the game's lone goal in the closing minutes to lift the East Jackson girls soccer team past Jackson High School in the GHSA Class AA second round. The win secured the Lady Eagles' first-ever appearance in the Elite 8, a match against Union County that will be played May 4 inside Eagle Stadium.
