The East Jackson girls soccer team took another step toward the Class AA state playoffs Tuesday night with a 5-0 win over the higher-classification school of Flowery Branch.
Megan Gates scored three goals for the Lady Eagles, while Allison Wilbanks and Reese Poelker each scored a goal in the win. East Jackson is 10-3 overall and finished the regular season with a 4-1 mark in Region 8-AA. East Jackson closes out the regular season Friday at Chestatee.
