The East Jackson girls soccer team remained undefeated Wednesday with a 4-3 win over Hart County to open Region 8-AA action. The Lady Eagles are now 7-0 on the season, surpassing their win total for the entire season last year and marking the most wins by a girls soccer team at East Jackson since the 2014-15 season when the Lady Eagles finished with nine total wins.
The Lady Eagles saw Megan Gates score three goals, while freshman Brittany Perez scored her first goal as a member of the varsity team.
East Jackson will play Creekview, Paulding County and Augusta Prep Day this weekend before returning to region action on Tuesday at Franklin County.
