The East Jackson girls soccer team improved to 2-0 Friday night with a dismantling 9-0 win over rival Commerce. Megan Gates led the way with a hat trick, connecting on three goals in the win.
The reigning Region 8-AA champion East Jackson's boys soccer team earned its first win of the season Friday night, a 4-2 decision over rival Commerce. Jackson Tidwell, Gray Albritton, TJ Erickson, and CJ Joplin each scored goals in the win.
East Jackson visits Seckinger on Friday night.
