The East Jackson girls basketball used 16 points from Jariah Thomas to soar past the West Hall Lady Spartans 50-38 Tuesday night. Thomas shot 50 percent from the floor, finished with 10 rebounds and six assists in the win that improved the Lady Eagles to 2-3 on the season.
Emilou Moore finished with 14 points and Zariah Gillespie with 13 points. Ryleigh Nunn finished with a team-best 14 rebounds. East Jackson visits Monsignor Donovan Tuesday, Dec. 3, and Jackson County Thursday, Dec. 5.
