The East Jackson varsity girls basketball team defeated Monsignor Donovan 61-27 on Friday night in Athens. Three Lady Eagles scored in double figures. Emilou Moore had a team-high 17 points, while Ryleigh Nunn finished with 16 points and Leashia Collins with 11.
"It was exciting to see the girls play as a team," interim head coach Faith Grooms said. "We got to play our entire roster. It feels good to see us executing our play calls."
East Jackson (2-3) hosts Monsignor Donovan on Tuesday, Dec. 5. The Lady Eagles host Johnson on Dec. 9.
