EJHS All-Region Soccer, Tennis Teams Announced

A list of student-athletes from both East Jackson High School have earned all-region honors for their respective sports.
East Jackson High School, which competes in Region 8-AA, has announced its all-region selections for both girls and boys soccer and tennis. Girls soccer coach Alicia Walker was named the Region 8-AA Coach of the Year.
Forward Elizabeth Wegesend, midfielders Natalie Betencourt and Brittany Perez, defenseman Tallulah Williams and goalkeeper Piper Pennington were named First Team in soccer. Defensemen Reese Poelker and Allison Wilbanks, along with boys midfielder Brandon Molina were named Second Team in soccer. Four Eagles - Ivan Rodriguez, Colton Gaskill, Angel Echeverria and Daniel Uribe were named Honorable Mention.
In tennis, Cambell Pettus and Emma Murphy were named First Team, while Carly Kidwell, Roxie Seabolt, Casey Loggins and James Beadles were named Second Team.
