East Jackson Comprehensive High School hosted a signing day event on Wednesday, where 10 seniors signed national letters of intent to play at the collegiate level. Student-athletes from four sports were recognized at the signing day event.
Brooklyn Lowery signed with Piedmont University for cheerleading, while Summer Huskin signed with Piedmont for soccer. Soccer's Georgia Hooper signed with Truett-McConnell and Harley Kate Smith signed with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Baseball's Payton Garner (South Georgia State) and Aiden Holley (Oglethorpe University) signed, along with football's Tyquese Gresham (University of North Carolina-Pembroke), Javon Huff (Missouri Baptist University), Corvin Gillespie (Centre College) and Talan Jackson (Andrew College).
