East Middle Swim Finishes Fourth In Hot Chocolate Invitational

The East Jackson Middle School swim teams finished fourth overall in the Hot Chocolate Invitational on Saturday, breaking several school and personal records in the process. 

Max McEver led the boys with a first-place in the boys' 50-meter freestyle and 50-meter backstroke. Emma Miller led the girls with a first-place in the girls' 50-meter freestyle and 100-yard freestyle. Seth Cassidy finished first in the boys' 100-yard freestyle and second in the 100 Individual Medley. Haden Zuercher finished third overall in both the boys' 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke. McEver, Miller, and Zuercher all set new school records in the process. 

High School: The EJCHS boys swim team finished sixth overall, while the girls finished ninth. Reed Cassidy finished third overall in the boys' 200-meter Individual Medley and fourth overall in the boys' 100-yard Freestyle event.
