The East Jackson girls tennis team swept Franklin County 5-0 Tuesday night in Region 8-AA action. The Lady Eagles dominated the night, only losing nine of the 69 games plays on the night.
No. 1 singles Addie Jarrett, No. 3 singles Calarie Yarbrough, No. 1 doubles of Cambell Pettus and Emma Murphy and No. 2 doubles of Courtney Campbell and Ava Sorrow all won their matches 6-0, 6-1. The No. 2 singles of Kynzie Curtin won 6-2, 6-3.
The East Jackson boys tennis team earned a 4-1 win over Franklin County Tuesday night. Fletcher Brinkman earned a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 1 singles matchup, while Konrad Schramm and Lucas Grey each earned wins in No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. The No. 1 doubles team of Ethan Bailey and Casey Loggins earned a win for the Eagles.
