East Jackson opened the 2025 cross country season on Saturday by hosting the North Georgia Two-Mile Stage Races. The event features three runners from each school competing in three separate stage race events.
The Eagles, the reigning Class AA Boys State Champions, saw Michael Kelleher finish with a time of 10:30.93 in the first stage, along with Colin Ramsey's time of 10:43.28 and Landon Brown's time of 10:49.17. In Stage 1 of the girls race, Addiyson Odom finished with a time of 13:41.47, along with Norah Nichols at 14:57.05 and Piper Pennington at 15:13.69.
In Stage 2, Rader Hannah finished with 11:47.49, Logan Korb with 11:48.01 and Dallas Brooks with 13:07.18. In the girls event, Courtney Cameron finished with a time of 14:12.00, along with Tallulah Williams at 14:55.15 and Emma Murphy at 17:31.94.
