Christian Trimble Named Boys Wrestling Coach

Christian Trimble Named Boys Wrestling Coach

Christian Trimble will serve as the new varsity boys wrestling coach at East Jackson High School, the school announced on Wednesday. Trimble will replace Matthew Patton, who will remain with the school as the head strength and conditioning coach overseeing all sports and with the wrestling program as the Director of Wrestling Operations.

Trimble is in his third year of coaching at East Jackson, and ran the Freestyle and Greco program for two years. Tremble holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Emmanuel University and was a two-time Georgia state wrestling finalist, and a NHSCA All-American in 2018. Trimble wrestled at both the Division I and Division II level, qualifying for the national tournament in 2024.

"I have big shoes to fill but I am looking forward to the challenge," Trimble said. "This is a great group of young men that I have the privilege to be around as we plot our take over of Georgia wrestling."

Patton will remain with the program as the Director of Wrestling Operations and will still assist with coaching duties, while Trimble leads the program.
