The East Jackson boys cross country team finished second among Class AA opponents at the North Oconee Invitational on Saturday, ranking as the highest public school in the classification at the meet.
The Eagles, ranked as one of the top teams in the state of Georgia, finished 12th overall among all 22 teams in competition. Hayden Hodges finished 30th overall with a time of 17:44.34, the third best time of any Class AA competitors. Cade Brown (18:04.69) finished 47th, Colin Ramsey (18.19.75) finished 57th overall and Michael Kelleher (18:29.82) finished 62nd overall.
On the girls side, junior Courtney Cameron finished 44th overall with a time of 22:00.42.
