Boys Basketball Announces Schedule
The East Jackson boys basketball team, fresh off a state playoff appearance in 2023-24, announced its schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Eagles begin their first full season under now full-time coach Jake Bulmer, who served in the interim role last season, on Nov. 8 when they visit Apalachee.
East Jackson's first home game will be Nov. 12 against Johnson, followed by games against Monroe Area (Nov. 19), Commerce (Nov. 23), Lumpkin County (Nov. 25) and Monsignor Donovan (Dec. 3).
The Eagles will visit cross-county rival Jackson County on Dec. 5 before making return visits to Lumpkin County and Monroe Area on Dec. 7 and Dec. 10. The Eagles will take part in the Madison County Tournament over Winter Break, spanning from Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, before hosting Burke County on Jan. 4.
The Eagles begin region play on Jan. 7 with a home game against Hebron Christian. Region play consists of five home contests and five road contests, ending on Feb. 7 at Hart County.
