East Jackson tallied 10 hits in just 18 at-bats to earn a dominating 15-0 victory over Central Gwinnett on Monday night. The Eagles improved to 4-3 on the season with the win.
Senior Ty Bennett scored three runs for the Eagles and drove in two more, while fellow senior Payton Garner was 2-for-3 at the plate with five RBIs and one run scored. Drew Richardson and Hanseong Kang each scored two runs for the Eagles, while Reed Cassidy, Bryse Patterson, JJ Dutton, Walker Mauldin and Nicholas Carpenter each scored a run. Kang, Cassidy and Logan Thomas each drove in a run, while Dutton drove in two runs.
On the mount, Garret Waugh, a senior, faced just nine batters in three innings of work. He struck out three batters.
