Coming off the heels of securing the most victories in a season during the 2023 season, the East Jackson Eagles are off to a good start in the 2024 season. The Eagles claimed back-to-back wins over White County and Monroe Area to begin the season with a 2-0 record.
East Jackson defeated White County 5-3 and Monroe Area 8-6 (nine innings). In the win over White County, Garrett Waugh threw 3.1 innings with three strikeouts, while Ty Bennett threw 3.2 innings with two strikeouts. Peyton Garner, HanSeong Kang, Walker Mauldin and Drew Richardson were each 2 for 4 at the plate.
