he East Jackson volleyball team swept West Hall 25-13, 25-7 and Athens Academy 28-26, 27-25 Tuesday night. The Lady Eagles are now 7-7 on the season.
Logan Beck led the way with 15 kills and nine aces in Tuesday night's sweep, while Karly Petty finished with nine aces and a team-best 21 assists. Gavin Guest finished with eight digs and three aces.
East Jackson faces Lakeview Christian Academy and Oconee County on Thursday (Aug. 29) and then has a pair of non-region contests against North Hall and Banks County on Sept. 5. East Jackson opens Region 8-AA play on Sept. 10 at home against Hebron Christian.
